Frank 151 Celebrates Release of 'Rock' Issue |
Frank 151 celebrated the release of Issue #20 at New York’s world-famous rock club, Don Hills.
DJ Jus Ske and DJ Uncle Mike aka The Cadillac Selector held it down with classic rock jams all night.
The Frank 151 Book is a semi-regular small but chunky magazine written around a certain theme. Themes have included Southern Hip Hop and Camouflage. Frank 151 founders the Malbon Brothers asked Uncle Mike to be the creative director for Issue # 20 and to come up with a fresh direction for his issue. To shake things up, Uncle Mike decided that this issue would be focused on all things “rock” with the idea of creating an issue that would be both interesting and informative to the Frank 151 cult of readers as well as being as visually stimulating. Frank 151 was a great vehicle to educate and entertain a hip crowd to the history of rock music, fashion and culture.
L-R: Steven Malbon, DJ Uncle Mike and the legendary Dr. Revolt compare hand gestures at the Frank 151 Rock Issue release party. For more photos, peep the full album here. http://frank151.typepad.com/photos/frank_20_release_party_ny/ For more info, check out http://www.frank151.com/ |
