DJ Uncle Mike rockin' the tunes at the beautiful Hurst House on the Marsh, Laugharne, South Wales. (photo by Ross Greive) Thank you to Lady Becky and Lord Huey for bringing together such a fun lovin' group of their family and friends ! Cheers ! And after DJ Uncle Mike and DJ Mateo DiFontaine made the tunes flow, it was The Tangiers Blues Band making their triumphant debut in South West Wales. Pictured here are (L-R) Waterside Slim (aka Chris Scianni) on the Guitar, Chico Baja (aka Dave Borla) at the Drums, Boozehound King with the Bass Guitar and Southern Comfort Vocals combo, El Millionaro (aka Huey) on Lapsteel Guitar and Spoken Words. (photo by dj uncle mike) And if that weren't enough, another South West Wales debut was made that night. A new discovery, under the tutelage of one Colonel Dermot Doran (pictured above, with rose). Young Deano from Dublin (pictured above) melted the crowd as he sang a song with The Tangiers Blues Band before the Fun Lovin' Criminals took to the instruments and treated their family and friends to some tunes to cap off a memorable night at the Hurst House on the Marsh, Laugharne, South Wales. There was even a lunar eclipse that night. A mindmelting time was had by all !!!!
What a beautiful and peaceful place to spend some time. The next day we had a traditional Sunday Roast next to the fireplace. The food was so fresh, all the vegetables were grown in the garden right on the grounds of the Hurst House! Thanks to Matt and everybody that took such great care of me while I DJ'd at the Hurst House in Wales. What a magical place! "Meet me in the corner of the yert!" (photos by dj uncle mike)
